Canada wins 2005 CFU Youth Cup; Jamaica finishes third
The CFU Youth Cup Final, which featured the two invited teams playing for the championship, saw Christopher Sheriffe score twice, while Marcus Johnstone and Mohammed Sylla each added another for Canada in the victory over Guatemala.
In the earlier third-place match at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, goals by Jeffrey Johnson, Dever Orgill and Damaine Thompson led Jamaica to a 3:0 win over the host Trinidad & Tobago.
Canada and Guatemala reached the CFU Youth Cup Final after defeating Caribbean rivals Jamaica (4:2) and Trinidad & Tobago (2:1), respectively, in the semifinals at Hasely Crawford Stadium on 11 August.
